Fall Shots

I just wanted to snap a few pictures of Jordan with the beautiful fall colors that we have. Plus her cute outfit too. :) I enjoy using her as my model, and I need to take advantage of it until she's at the age where she tells me she doesn't want to do it anymore.

Our 2nd Grader

Ethan started school a week later than Reagan. He's now an official second grader. I remember loving 2nd grade and I hope he does too. His teacher is Mrs. Wright and she's the sister of some of our very close friends. So that's fun that we already know her. I pray for blessings on both my kids as they go out into the world and stretch their little wings. Just because it's Preschool or 2nd grade, doesn't mean it's a piece of cake for dear ol' mom.
Jordan's now in the 1st day of school annual picture.
The progression! I LOVE this.

Cuz she's so cute!

Yep, this is just because I love taking pictures of the babesie! She so fun and sweet. I'm loving this age very much. But it's going by way too fast. I'm trying to savor every moment I can because I know (unless God has other plans) this will be the last of the Faust babies. Enjoy!

Reagan's First Day of Preschool!

Reagan is now officially a school girl. She had her first day of Preschool yesterday. We were up bright and early to go. We got to school and everything was fine. But when it came time to leave her she wasn't too thrilled about the prospect. This surprised me because she's always been great about going to her Sunday school classes or having a babysitter and has never been a clingy kid. I know it was new for her and usually she's a little shy and quiet but has always adjusted fine. She was hugging my leg and telling me she wanted me to stay with her. Finally we got her settle with some play dough, eeked a smile out for a picture and left. Luckily, no tears. I'm glad my kids aren't like that. When I came back later to get her, she was sitting quietly with her classmates. Her teacher said she did excellent and that she's very mature for her age. :) Makes a mommy proud, I gotta say. She had colored a picture so pretty and cut out circles. She was so happy to show me her work. I think she'll do just fine.

We are proud of you sweetie!
