She's No Fool!

So sometimes I give my kids treats in a little ziplock baggie so they can just carry it around eating it without spilling. I guess that wasn't easy access enough for Reagan one day because I came down and saw she had put on one of her bibs that has a pocket area at the bottom and just placed her M&M's in there. Now it was totally hands free! So funny!

Life Got Away!!!!!

Sorry, it's been a while. Life gets away and then I stop to just give my kids a hug. Gosh, they're growing up so fast. Some things I'm meaning to do that I haven't: videotape Reagan saying her goodnight prayers, priceless!, get mom and kid pics taken for Daddy for Father's day, lose and elusive 7 pounds that just loves me for some reason, and a plethora of other things. Anyway, just wanted to check in, share a few pics of the fam.

Sleepy Boy!

I came across the funniest sight tonight as I checked on Ethan after he fell asleep. I opened his door just to take a peak and I didn't see him in bed. Well, where was he? I opened the door a little more and there he was, asleep, sitting up in his basketball chair with his pillows behind his head and blankets over him so he wouldn't get cold. I just cracked up. That little guy just doesn't give up. It was almost 10 o'clock at night (bedtime is about 7:30) and it was like his little body said, "Can't...quite...make....it...to...the...bed." Thump, I'm done. :)

Happy Birthday to Me!!!!

So here I am on December 24th, on my 29 birthday!!!! Ugh, am I really that old? Yippee (not said enthusiastically). These are my birthday brownies but I have a feeling that Dad put a few too many candles on there trying to spell my name. Let's hope so, at least the house didn't burn down.

Here's a few other glimpses from our Christmas up at Grandma and Grandpa's in Whidbey Island this year. Pretty much the whole time was spent with Nick and my dad tearing up three rooms of flooring to put down hard woods. Another great birthday/Christmas present, keeping the kids out of their way. Easier said than done. I was glad to come home. Yep, now I'm feeling my age.

Here we're "trying" to read some kind of Christmas story to the kids. I think Reagan's more interested in having Daddy tickle her. Typical.
