It's Halloween Time

It's that time of year again, Harvest and Halloween time. Now while Halloween was never really celebrated in our home when I was a kid (not that I missed it, I don't DO scary), I try to make it fun and safe for our kids. I know they enjoy getting to dress up and get candy as all kids do, so while it doesn't have the most redeemable of reputations, it's fun to see the kids excited when Halloween comes around.

We braved the Harvest party at our church tonight. They have different activities in all the kid's Sunday school rooms (photographers, carnival games, free hot dogs and chips, and of course, candy). Ethan insisted in being Anikan Skywalker this year, of course. Reagan decided she wanted to be a kitty (thank goodness she didn't choose a princess). :) Here's some pics of our night, and tomorrow night is the big Trick or Treat rounds with Daddy, a job I am more than happy to relinquish to him.

Reagan's showing off her kitty tail.

She was so excited to wear makeup.

Very serious and in character.

At the church, of course posing for the photographer.

Hmmmm, are we done yet?

Ethan roasting a marshmallow in front of a fake fire in the "Camping" room.

And that was our night. After a little over an hour of weaving through the crowds, I was MORE than ready to head home.

Ultrasound Picture

I forgot to post our ultrasound picture. So here's our baby girl during my 18 week ultrasound. Her profile looks alot like Reagan's. I love the little upturned nose, takes after mama! :)

22 weeks!

It's been a while since I took a pregnancy pic. And usually when I'm presentable to have one taken, Nick isn't around. So I'm trying my hand at self portraits. :) Here's the belly at 22 weeks and 1 day. I took two because the dress I was wearing made me look "fluffy" but it's cute and comfy. Although I feel round and heavy, looking at the pictures gives me a different perspective. It seems to be centering mostly in the belly and boobs, which is ok with me. I'm 17 pounds in (not happy), but trying to keep it all in perspective. :) I'll keep ya posted.

Fall Day

It was such a pretty day today. I realized I haven't gotten the camera out in a while and decided to get some creative juices flowing. I LOVE the fall, it's my favorite season, with the cooler weather and the beautiful colors. And my favorite subjects of all, my kids! These were just some shots I snapped in the back yard. Ethan was at school when I did Reagan, so when he got home, he wanted me to take some of him as well.

I love this shot of Reagan, twirling around! It's so carefree.

Brother and Sister. Isn't that adorable?
