It's Beginning to Look Like Christmas
We've finally caught up with everyone else and got our Christmas lights, decorations, and tree up. Every year we go to a tree farm called The Tree Wiseman. This year the kids were so cold but we still trekked out and cut it down. They were into helping me decorate for a while, and only one ornament got broken. Then they got bored and I finished myself, which is fine with me. :)

Amateur Photo Session
We had a gorgeous day in the Northwest today and I took Reagan out to just enjoy it and shoot some pictures. It's been a while since I've gotten to take some (unfortunately Ethan's never around when I'm able to do it) and Reagan's such a good sport when mama wants her to be her little "model". I love experimenting with the colors and what could look good to see what I can come up with. These were actually just taken by the road at the entrance of our housing development, but you'd never know. Here's some of my favorites:

27 weeks, only 3 months left!
Here's a shot of "the belly" at 27 weeks. I went to a fun party at a friend's house and finally got some good shots of me (Nick's not so great with the photography). I only have 3 months left. Overall I'm feeling ok. I don't feel sick at all anymore which is so nice. But I do still get short of breath if I've been up and about too much. This baby is moving ALOT, she's an active little thing. I'm able to do some light workouts so I've been going to aqua aerobics at the gym and it's felt soooo good to get moving.

Reagan's now 4!
My how she's grown. Our precious little Reagan is 4 years old now. We've had a busy birthday weekend for her. Saturday night we let her open her presents even though her birthday was on Sunday because we had to get up really early for her birthday breakfast at IHOP before daddy went to work. Here's her favorite present, her huge tiger she named Jack. She totes him around which isn't easy.
Our kids love going to IHOP for breakfast on their birthdays. First of all, it's free (yay for mom and dad) and they get a special birthday sundae with their breakfast as well.
We love you, Reagan. Our lives are more joyful by having you in it!

Pictures from my days...
We've been pretty busy lately with Ethan in school, me doing my MOMS activities with the church and keeping up with Miss Reagan (who's almost 4). Here's some cute moments that have been captured here and there...
A couple pics of my 26 weeks belly, the leaves were so pretty, they'd just been blown off the tree by a huge rain storm.
And of course, Nick was playing "ultimate" hide and seek and Reagan hid on the ledge in our bedroom from Ethan, so of course once he found her, he wanted to get up there too.
We're doing well, gearing up for the busy parts of our year. We have Reagan and Nick's birthday's next week, two days apart. Then it's Thanksgiving time, yummy food of course. Then December rolls around with it's whirlwind of present shopping, parties, more food, my birthday and of course, Christmas. But I welcome it, all the more to keep me distracted while waiting for our little one to come along. Only about 3 months left, I can do this... :)
Reagan was all bedded down and reading to herself tonight, so grown up and sweet, made me smile. I used to love reading before I went to bed as a child, but not until I was older.

It's Halloween Time
It's that time of year again, Harvest and Halloween time. Now while Halloween was never really celebrated in our home when I was a kid (not that I missed it, I don't DO scary), I try to make it fun and safe for our kids. I know they enjoy getting to dress up and get candy as all kids do, so while it doesn't have the most redeemable of reputations, it's fun to see the kids excited when Halloween comes around.
We braved the Harvest party at our church tonight. They have different activities in all the kid's Sunday school rooms (photographers, carnival games, free hot dogs and chips, and of course, candy). Ethan insisted in being Anikan Skywalker this year, of course. Reagan decided she wanted to be a kitty (thank goodness she didn't choose a princess). :) Here's some pics of our night, and tomorrow night is the big Trick or Treat rounds with Daddy, a job I am more than happy to relinquish to him.
And that was our night. After a little over an hour of weaving through the crowds, I was MORE than ready to head home.
