11 weeks

Here's me now at 11 weeks. Starting to get a bit wider in the midsection. Hey, at least I can still get my regular jeans on, just no belt anymore. And thank goodness I'm starting to feel better. Almost done with the first trimester. Woo hoo!

Soccer Players

Both of the kids are in soccer this summer. We wanted to get Reagan into some sports since she's watched and supported her brother for the past couple years. They're both doing so well. It's fun to watch your kids enjoying themselves.
Reagan's not quite as competitive as Ethan is. She mostly trots after her teammates. But in this game she did score two goals (at this age level they don't have goalies). She's so proud of herself being on her team, the Orange Popsicles (my idea, BTW).

Here's Mr. Ethan hustling along to get the ball. What a difference one year makes. He played soccer a year ago and had fun but didn't really get the ball control or just to keep going to the goal once he had the ball. Not so anymore. In this game he scored 4 goals! He's running hard, carrying the ball, handling it well and following through. I'm very impressed with how well he's doing. Go Grey Wolves!

Can I Handle This?

Yes, it's true. We are on board for adding to the Faust Fam. Tomorrow I'm officially 8 weeks pregnant and sooooo feeling it. Is it cuz I'm over 30 (ahem, 30 1/2), because that's my husband's excuse. This pregnancy has been totally different than the other two. I'm very nauseous, I have major smell and food aversions, and very strong cravings. I hope it only lasts the first trimester. So here's my first pregnant belly pic. Goodbye to flat stomachs for awhile. I'm not in denial, I get BIG! And yes, I feel like I'm already showing!

Happy Father's Day!

Here's to you, Nick. Our kids are so blessed to have you as their daddy. What a wonderful gift you given me, to see you with our children and how much they love and adore you. Thank you for being a positive example to them of what a loving father should be. I love you very much!

Mini Vacay!

We took our first little vacation of the summer to...you guessed it... Cannon Beach, OR. It's simply our favorite little place ever and so close that it makes a great little getaway for us. Here's some highlights from our trip.

Always smart to start our trip with Chai!
The kids wanted to spend some of their hard earned money at "donut world" (aka: Krispy Kreme).

So here's a little side note. Nick said he wanted to drop by The Shane Co. on our way out of town because we'd been discussing getting me a new wedding set. We went in talked with a lady that he'd been working with on the phone. They pulled the wedding band they'd discussed and then let me look for the engagement ring part. After looking the woman comes back out with a wrapped gift box and has Nick gives it to me. The wedding band part was already paid for and he gave it to me as a surprise gift for our anniversary next week. The diamond ring we put on a 12 month layaway for next year, our 10 year anniversary. I'm always telling Nick that I love being surprised and I guess this time he listened. This picture isn't very good but you can get the idea. There's no center stone in the middle yet but it'll be a round stone.

Our hotel, the Inn at Cannon Beach.

I love, love, LOVE this pic I took of Reagan. They had these beautiful garden trellises that she and I called the "princess arches".

Nick giving Jill some exercise near Haystack Rock.

She has such a cute little bumm.

A semi good family picture.

I'm trying to eat Ethan's cookie.

My hair had seen better days since it'd been blown in the wind on the beach. :)

There was alot of bed jumping going on. My sister and I always used to do this when we were kids and we'd stay in motels. It's half the fun.

We had a great time as always. Until next time...

Ethan Graduates Kindergarten!

Our little guy has finally graduated...Kindergarten. Here's a recap of Ethan's last days at Cornerstone Christian School.

Ethan's last day of school they had a Hawaiian Hula Party! His swimming trunks were as close to Hawaiian that we got.
Ethan and one of his friends, Luke.

His teacher, Miss Gellert!

Ethan and Caleb, best friends!

Now don't they make this same face when they graduate from high school too?

Grandma Nettie, Grandpa Jeff, Auntie Shonda and Cousin Shrade all made it for the big day!

Class of 2009!

I know what you're thinking...it's a lion CAKE!

The school gave each child a Bible as a graduation gift!

Proud Parents indeed!

MOM Prom 2009

Yes, you heard right, we went to the Prom. Our MOMS group at our church hosted our first annual MOM Prom and it was such a blast. There was dancing, desserts, giveaways and prom pictures. I dragged poor Nick and along and he was such a sport (and luckily he knew some guys there so that helped too). Memorize this picture because it's pretty rare that you'll see my husband dancing. I got him up for 3 slow dances, couldn't persuade to do any fast ones so I danced with my girlfriends. Woo hoo! It was alot of fun.

One thing I'm very proud of was that my dress was...are you ready... $10!!!! I got it on the super duper clearance rack at JC Penny's. So great!

Me, Angela and Cassie. We all go the same gym and take Spin class together.

Kat, me and Amanda. Amanda and I are table leaders and Kat was at our table last year and now she's a table leader this year. We miss her at our table though.
Me, Cassie and Marlene. I play soccer with Marlene, she's also a table leader and Cassie sits at my table.
Cassie and I on the dance floor, our husbands chose to sit it out.

I don't know...

My shoes were sooooo awesome. They were incredibly comfortable and on sale when I got them. Not one blister or sore spot!

Lisa, Cassie and I.

Amanda just had her 3rd baby (in 4 years, I KNOW), so she's showing off her cleavage. :)

Yay, he danced with me.

What a super fun night. I never went to a real prom because my school only had banquets, so this was alot of fun to go to, and probably alot more fun than high school proms.! :)
